Cuttlefish IQF

Scientific name: Sepia Pharaonis, a species of cuttlefish that can be found in the western Indian Ocean, between the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf. It can reach up to 42 cm in length and 5 kg in weight.

Origin: India.

Fishing area: FAO zone 51. It is found in the Indian Ocean and extends from the east coast of India to the east coast of Africa, reaching the 45th meridian south. This zone, in turn, is divided into eight sub-zones.

Presentation: I.Q.F., bulk box of 6 and 8 kg and 1 kg bag. The initials I.Q.F. (Individual Quick Freezing) mean individual quick freezing and apply to food, in this case frozen fish. We can find it in a bulk box protected by a plastic interior or in 1 kg bags.

English:Size: 2/4 contains two to four pieces of frozen cuttlefish per kg.

Packaging: In this case, there are various packaging options depending on customer demand. In this case, the packaging offered is bulk boxes of 6 and 8 kg.

Palletizing: We always work with a European pallet, which measures 80 x 12 x 14.4 cm. When palletizing it, we seek to maximize it for transport, reaching 1.90 m in height. In the case of cuttlefish, the number of boxes may vary depending on their size.
